Q. This seems too good to be true. Is there something I'm missing?
A. You're not missing a thing. The Group
Property and Auto Insurance Program costs nothing to implement, and provides your employees/members with
discounts on property and auto insurance. We'll absorb the marketing costs and handle all the administration
all the while passing on highly competitive rates to your employees/members.
Q. How much time will I have to commit to this program?
A. Our program runs successfully with very little
commitment on your time. We handle all of the work, and only ask you to distribute our marketing materials
to your employees or members on a quarterly basis.
Q. Your rates are great this year, but what about next year?
A. In Canada, the various regulatory
provincial bodies determine the standards for automobile insurance and all rate changes must first be approved
by these agencies. Waterloo Insurance cannot change rates arbitrarily. Also, your group rate is based on
your industry classification and not the claims experience of your group so your discount won't change.
Q. Is there a minimum number of employees or members required to establish a group property and auto insurance
program?
A. Yes, in order to qualify for a group property and auto insurance program, government
regulations stipulate that a minimum of 100 employees or members are required. Note: there are no minimum
participation rates required.
